First It Was Clarence Thomas. Now it's Neil Gorsuch. Come Talk Choice and Justice This Wednesday in Weston at 5:30 with Senator Becca Rausch and me!

Hi Everyone,

First it was Clarence Thomas. Today we learned Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch also failed to disclose a financial benefit received from a law firm with business before the United States Supreme Court. After waiting two years to find a buyer for a 40-acre property he co-owned, newly-minted Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch found a buyer only nine days after he was confirmed. Who was this well-timed buyer? The chief executive of Greenberg Traurig, a powerful law firm with a significant caseload before our Supreme Court.

All judges derive their power not from themselves but from the law, which is derived from the people. These betrayals are not only corrupt and troubling, they are contrary to our democracy. Every single judge matters, whether in the highest court in our country or in our local state courts. Corruption happens one case at a time, decided by one judge at a time. Mass incarceration happens one case at a time, one defendant before one judge at a time.

We must do as much as we can right here in Massachusetts. That's why I hope you'll join me with pro-choice champion Senator Becca Rausch this Wednesday in Weston, starting at 5:30. Due to a scriveners error, the prior invitation listed the start time at 7:00. We apologize for the error and attach the correct invitation in the link below.

I'm already bowled over by how much support this campaign is getting, and deeply thankful for all your support. We came so close last year, much closer than anyone has before. I'm confident that with your support, we will finish what we started in 2024.

SENATOR BECCA RAUSCH AND MARA DOLAN IN WESTON, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 2023 AT 5:30 P.M.

Take Care,

Mara
